Hands-on practice and coaching to develop your DJ skills in a club-style studio (in Berlin only)

Focus areas (adapted to your level):

• Beat synchronisation & phrasing: understanding bars, transitions, and smooth mixing without relying on sync
• Harmonic mixing & effects: blending tracks musically and using FX creatively
• Building & recording DJ sets: structuring energy levels, preparing for gigs, and recording mixes
• Music library organisation: preparing playlists, cue points, loops, and Rekordbox setup
• DJ psychology: balancing preparation with improvisation
• Stage presence & confidence: : tools to stay calm and focused behind the decks

Sessions are highly practical: you’ll be mixing from the start, with feedback on technique, flow, and musical choices. Training can focus on fundamentals for beginners or performance skills for experienced DJs.

TRACK FEEDBACK

Coaching and Track Reviews. A space to analyze and refine your productions through feedback (online or in Berlin)

Focus areas:

• Arrangement & storytelling: how to build tension, release, and narrative
• Rhythms, grooves & percussion: creating drive and variation
• Atmospheres & textures: layering sound for depth and mood
• Harmonic and melodic development: strengthening themes, chords, and melodies
• Polyrhythms & composition techniques: adding complexity and interest
• Mixdown essentials: achieving balance and clarity
• Preparing tracks for release: formats, loudness, and final polish

Detailed feedback on your tracks, with suggestions for structure, composition, harmony, and rhythm. We’ll also cover mixing fundamentals. This works best if you already have a nearly finished track, and want another perspective to expand ideas and improve before release.


ABLETON LESSONS

Structured lessons for beginners in electronic music production (online or in Berlin)

Focus areas:

• Workflow & interface: navigating Ableton efficiently and setting up a productive workspace
• Rhythm & groove building: constructing drum patterns and grooves that drive the track
• Arrangement techniques: turning loops into full songs with dynamic structure
• Automation & sound design: shaping evolving sounds and learning synthesis basics
• Mixdown & mastering fundamentals: balancing levels, EQ, compression, and finalizing tracks

Each lesson combines explanation, demonstration, and hands-on exercises. The goal is to give you practical tools and workflows so you can confidently start and finish tracks on your own.
