ORCHESTRAL EXPERIENCE
I have developed my orchestral experience through youth, project-based, and professional orchestras in Spain, Germany and Switzerland.
EUROPEAN PHILHARMONIC OF SWITZERLAND (EPOS)
GUSTAV MAHLER JUGENDORCHESTER (GMJO)
I have been a member of youth orchestras such as Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Joven Orquesta Nacional de España, and Joven Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, and I have also collaborated with orchestras including the European Philharmonic of Switzerland, Sinfónica de Galicia, and Orquesta Sinfónica Verum.
Through these experiences, I have performed at festivals including BBC Proms, Salzburger Festspiele, Young Euro Classic, and Musikfest Stuttgart, and in concert halls such as Musikverein, Konzerthaus Berlin, Het Concertgebouw, Megaron, Royal Albert Hall, and Auditorio Nacional de Música.
I have shared the stage with soloists including Frank Peter Zimmermann, Martha Argerich, Christian Gerhaher, Nicholas Angelich, Gautier Capuçon, Renaud Capuçon, Javier Camarena, Dimitry Masleev, and Andrew Tyson, and I have worked with conductors such as Philippe Jordan, Christoph Eschenbach, Lorenzo Viotti, Nacho de Paz and David Afkham.
NEUE PHILHARMONIE BERLIN
Since 2022, I have been a member of the Neue Philharmonie Berlin.

I work throughout the year as part of its resident activity and take part in three tours annually, usually including one week of concerts in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and one week in Baden-Württemberg, with around 12–15 symphonic concerts in total. With them, I also participate in composition workshops, Christmas projects, and other seasonal and educational formats.
Separate from these tours, I also perform with Neue Philharmonie in educational programs during most months of the year, giving morning concerts in schools across Germany in smaller ensemble formations. These concerts are designed to introduce children to classical music and, in many cases, provide a first direct encounter with live performance.
CHAMBER MUSIC
DÚO XISTRA

I am co-founder of Dúo Xistra, a flute and accordion duo founded in Galicia in 2017 together with accordionist Nerea Rodríguez. Through this project, I explore ways of presenting classical music that feel direct, dynamic, and current, working with repertoire from baroque to contemporary music.
Our artistic approach is rooted in the idea of opening classical music to a wider and more immediate experience, combining precision with freshness, emotion, and stage presence.
With Dúo Xistra, I have performed internationally and developed projects in both concert and educational contexts. The duo has appeared at venues and festivals including the Chamber Music Festival “City of Mendoza” in Argentina, the National Conservatory of Accordion in Santiago de Chile, IKFEM in Portugal, Convento de San Francisco, the I Chamber Music Festival Cidade de Pontevedra, and the concert series Ciclo de Conciertos en la Ermita in Vinaròs. We have also given individual and chamber music masterclasses.
The duo has received distinctions including First Prize at the IMKA Music Competition in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an invitation to perform at Army Hall in Sarajevo.
BOUNDARIES II – Contemporary Works for Flute and Accordion

A central part of the project is our recording work. Our album Boundaries II – Contemporary Works for Flute and Accordion is available on major digital platforms.
This release in the Boundaries series is dedicated to Dúo Xistra and features five new works dedicated to the ensemble by Hugo Gómez-Chao Porta, David Cantalejo, Luis Fonseca, Antonio Covello, and Antonio Celso Ribeiro.
The release page also includes listening links, download options, the booklet, and a teaser.
EDUCATION
I began my musical studies at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música Manuel Quiroga (Pontevedra) with Francisco Seoane and Iago Lariño. I later continued my studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón (Zaragoza) with Fernando Gómez, Antonio Nuez, and André Cebrián, and I am currently continuing my career in Berlin.
I have received guidance from flutists such as Silvia Careddu, Emily Beynon, Juliette Hurel, Davide Formisano, Clara Andrada, János Bálint, Paul Edmund-Davies, and Mattia Petrilli.
My development has also been shaped by a strong interest in chamber music and contemporary music, through work with artists such as Nacho de Paz, Kennedy Moretti, Xelo Giner, Cuarteto Quiroga, and Julián Elvira, as well as collaborations in premiere-focused contexts with composers including Sofía Gubaidulina, Antón García Abril, and Beat Furrer.
